Mira e:S cabin air filter
We will introduce how to replace the cabin air filter for Daihatsu Mira e:S (LA350S/LA360S).
Since the original Mira has ended, this Mira e:S is essentially the successor to the Mira series.
Mira’s rival has been Suzuki’s Alto for a long time, but now Alto seems to have more momentum.
That said, there may not be that much demand for light vehicles in this class overall.
The most popular ones are light cars that can be used widely, such as Daihatsu’s Tanto and Suzuki’s Spacia.
This is a type of car that is specialized for transportation.
There is not much difference in how to replace an air conditioner filter.
Now let’s get to the point.
Remove glove box

Open the glove box, push both sides inward and pull to release the part where the glove box is stuck.
If you are having trouble removing it, it will be easier to remove it by removing one side at a time.
The glove box can be easily removed by removing the hooked part.
Remove the cover

When you remove the glove box, you will see a horizontally long cover. Pinch the lock on the left side and pull to remove the cover.
When pulling, the right side of the cover is inserted into the unit, so first pull it to the left, then remove the right side, and then pull it towards you.
Replace the filter

There is a filter at the end of the cover, so replace it with a new filter.
I had the impression that the interior was not much different from the previous model.
The exchange method is almost the same.
I feel like it doesn’t look much different from the previous model…Maybe I cut corners! ?
Well, I don’t think that’s the case, but I was a little surprised at how little he had changed to the point where I even suspected something like that.

If you compare it with the previous model, you can see that there have been many improvements, but it’s a bit disappointing that the results aren’t reflected in the fuel efficiency.
As has been said for some time, I feel that we have reached the point where we can improve the fuel efficiency of light vehicles.
By the way,
Toyota Pixis Epoch (LA350A/LA360A) and
Subaru Pleo Plus (LA350F/LA360F)
are similar models, so the same filter can be used.
