Passo / Boon (700 series) Cabin Air Filter replacement

This time, I would like to introduce how to replace the cabin air filter of Toyota Passo / Daihatsu Boon. (both 700 series)

It is a car that made the position of the cute compact immovable.
Originally it was made by Daihatsu, so now I feel that Boon is selling more than Passo.
Passo also saw commercials for the previous model, but I feel that I haven’t seen it at all since it became the current model.
Boon has a stronger impression of the CM of the current model.

Remove the glove box

Push both sides of the glove box inward to disengage the stopper pins on the top left and right of the glove box.
After removing it, pull the glove box horizontally to the rear (front) side of the vehicle and remove the hook at the bottom of the glove box to remove the glove box.

Remove the filter cover

Pick the lock on the left side and pull it toward the rear (front) of the vehicle to unlock the cover.
The right side is a guide, so if you pull it out to the left, the filter cover will come off.

Replace filter

When you remove the cover, you can see the filter. Pull it toward the seat (front) to remove it and replace it with a new filter.

This was also easy to replace.
The most difficult thing about replacing the air conditioner filter is to remove the glove box.
Once you get over it, the rest of the process isn’t that difficult.
