Remove the damper stay

Pull the damper stay on the left side of the glove box to the left to remove it from the glove box.
Sometimes it’s hard and hard to remove.
If you force it, the damper and yourself will be damaged, so please remove it while adjusting the force as appropriate.

Remove the glove box

Push the left side of the glove box inward and pull it toward you to remove the hooked part on the left side.

When the left side is finished, do the same for the right side and the glove box will come off.

The side of the glove box is engraved with the word “PUSH”, so it’s easy to remove it by pushing it inward, but the glove box is relatively stiff, so you may not feel that you can push it too much.

Remove the cover

The white cover can be easily removed by pinching the lock on the left side and pulling it to the left.
It may not be necessary to explain so much, but if you peel it off too much, it may be damaged, so if it sometimes sticks to the unit and it is difficult to remove it, please gently remove it.

Take out the case

Pull out the white case toward you.
Recently, more and more Toyota cars have a case with a filter that I often saw before.
Since the shape of the filter is less likely to collapse when it is in the case, it may be possible to catch dust more than when it is not in the case.

Replace filter

The filter is in the pulled out case, so take it out and replace it.

Personally, I like this kind of futuristic car.
Somehow it makes me feel the future.
