Honda CR-V Hybrid Cabin Air Filter Replacement

It’s been more than 20 years since the first CR-V was released, and there were times when it seemed like this model would be the last. I feel like it’s coming back.
The hybrid model has finally arrived with this model, and while it’s not as flashy as usual, it still makes its presence felt even if it’s plain.
The previous model was also sold overseas, and it may have been more popular overseas than in Japan, which is why it has continued until now.

This time we are introducing a hybrid (RT), but regular gasoline vehicles (RW) can also be replaced using the same method.

Now let’s get to the main topic.

Remove damper

Open the glove box and push the damper on the left side towards the back to remove it from the glove box.
Most Honda dampers are removed from the glove box by being pushed to the back.

Remove glove box

While pushing both sides of the glove box inward one at a time, lower the glove box and release the hooked part of the glove box stopper. Once you remove one, remove the other and the glove box will come off.

Remove the cover

When you remove the glove box, you will see a black cover. Push the locks on both sides inward and pull it toward you to remove the cover.

Replace the filter.

All you have to do is replace the filter.
Basically, it’s not that difficult, so you can easily replace it.
If you’re a little curious, try exchanging it.
