A Traditional Suzuki Classic
Hey there, good evening!
Today, I’m actually going to introduce the Suzuki Jimny!
Thinking it’s a bit of a “niche” choice?
Hehehe, as you might have noticed from following this blog, I tend to go for some pretty “deep” picks.
The Jimny, a long-selling Suzuki classic, hasn’t had a full model change in over 15 years. But perhaps because of its cult following, it still has a quiet yet strong presence.
Suzuki really has a knack for having those kinds of models in their lineup.
I’ve heard that the Carry (truck) also sells incredibly well, even if it’s not always in the spotlight.
Some call it Suzuki’s “hidden cash cow”… maybe that’s why they can afford to have such big-name stars in their commercials!
Makes sense, makes sense.
Oh, by the way, the Mazda AZ-Offroad is the exact same vehicle, so I’ll be grouping them together here.
Now, let’s get to the main point.
Remove the filter cover

First, take a look under the glove box. The filter cover is located around the circled area. Release the clips on both the front and back sides to remove the cover.
Be careful, as trying to force it off can damage the cover.

The cover looks like this. If it’s the very first time it’s being replaced, the cover might be stuck tight and hard to remove, so please take your time and be careful.
Replace the filter

Once the cover is off, the filter will become visible.

After that, just swap the filter and you’re all set!
The replacement itself isn’t difficult, just be extra careful not to damage that filter cover!
