Try replacing Roomy’s cabin air filter!
We will show you how to replace the cabin air filter in Toyota Roomy.
Basically, you can use the same exchange method for Toyota Tank, Daihatsu Thor, and Subaru Justy.
I should be able to go.
Let’s talk a little bit about cars. Personally, I like cars of this size.
It’s easy to drive.
If you’re used to larger cars, you might think it’s a modest size, but once you get used to a car of this size, driving becomes really easy and fun.
It may not be suitable for long-distance driving, but it is perfectly possible to go on short excursions.
I think it’s a versatile car that can be used for everything from everyday driving to long drives.
It’s a car like that, but you can easily replace the air conditioner filter, so please try it if you like.
So let’s get down to business.
Remove glove box

Push both ends of the glove box inward and remove the tabs on the left and right sides of the glove box.
Then, remove the glove box by pulling out the fitting part (the part where the glove box is fixed) (one each on the left and right) under the glove box towards you.
If you have not replaced the parts often, it may be difficult to remove the left and right claws, so it may be easier to pull out the mating part (called the lower part in the instruction manual) first.
When removing the mating parts all at once, be careful not to damage any parts.
Remove filter cover

The left side of the cover can be pinched, so you can remove it by pinching it to release the fixed part. The right side is inserted into the blower case, so you can remove it by pulling the entire cover to the left.
When you actually take it off, you’ll realize that it looks like this.
Replace the filter

All you have to do is replace the filter and you’re done!
What do you think?
When I actually tried replacing it, the tabs on the left and right sides of the glove box were difficult to remove, so I had to pull them out all at once.
It seems like it requires some tricks, so if you have time, it might be a good idea to take a closer look at the mechanism and try replacing it.
On Honda cars, the glove box can be removed relatively easily, but on Toyota cars, the glove box is sometimes so hard that it doesn’t budge even when you press the left or right sides.
It seems that the more expensive the car, the harder the glove box is, and the claws tend not to come off at all even if you push left or right.
So, is this car also a luxury car?
