Honda N-BOX SLASH Cabin Air Filter Replacement

Today I will show you how to replace the air conditioner filter on Honda’s N-BOX SLASH, which I test drove the other day.

N-BOX SLASH was born as a derivative of N-BOX, but it caused a bit of a stir when it first appeared.
It seems to have calmed down a lot now, but how popular is it?

Even if it stays as a one-generation wonder, its unique ‘California diner’ style and premium sound system make it a legendary car for its fans.

There are many different owners, so I think it’s good that there are many different options for cars.
However, it is a common story that derivative cars end up in one generation unless they become extremely popular.

I would like to keep an eye on the future of N-BOX SLASH.

Let’s get to the point.

Open the glove box

The basics start now.
Most modern cars have the air conditioner filter behind the glove box, so the process starts with removing the glove box.

After opening the glove box, push both sides of the glove box inward and bring it toward you. This will release the hooked part of the glove box and allow you to lower the glove box all the way to the bottom.

Modern cars have USB cables attached to them, so these cords often extend from the back of the glove box.
Be careful not to damage the cord while working.

Remove the lid

When you lower the glove box, you will see the lid where the filter is located. Push both sides of the lid inward and bring it toward you to remove the lid.

Replace the filter

It was Honda’s orthodox replacement method.
At the time of the original N-BOX, some cars did not come with a filter, but this N-BOX SLASH seems to come with a filter as standard.
