HONDA N-WGN (JH3/4) Replacement Procedure

Tools: None required

Open the glove box and press both sides inward while releasing the stopper hooks, then lower the glove box.

Press inward on both locking tabs located on each side of the filter cover to remove the cover.

Replace the filter.

Postscript

This is the replacement procedure for the N-WGN (JH3/4).
The actual vehicle inspected was a JH3 model.

There is no damper.

Possibly because it is a kei car, the glove box was made of a softer material than the Vezel inspected on the same day, making the stopper easier to release.

Coincidentally, the procedure was exactly the same as the Vezel’s.

Here as well, the filter can be replaced without completely removing the glove box.
Once the glove box is fully removed, it must then be reinstalled properly afterward, so considering that extra effort, it is preferable if the replacement can be done without removing it entirely.

The filter cover uses locking tabs on both sides.
Removal and installation are both easy.

The filter itself is also an existing type already used in other applications.
This model was also equipped with a simple dust-collection type filter.

For a replacement procedure this straightforward, even someone without technical knowledge should be able to perform it, so owners are encouraged to replace the filter themselves.
