A simply cool sedan
Insight is currently in its third generation.
The first generation was unique, the second generation was the best-selling, and the third generation became ordinary.
The current model has an image of being a rather swanky sedan. The 1st and 2nd generations had unique designs that helped establish the image of the car name Insight, but the current generation suddenly looks like a normal sedan, so I feel like the impression has completely changed. I will.
As one of the car models that made Honda’s hybrid world famous, I hope it continues to do so.
Let’s get straight to the point.
Remove damper

There is a damper on the right side of the glove box.
To remove it, do the same thing as the left damper, push it inward and remove it from the glove box.
Remove glove box

While pushing both sides of the glove box inward one at a time, lower the glove box and release the hooked part of the glove box stopper.
Once you remove one, remove the other and the glove box will come off.
Remove the cover

When you remove the glove box, you will see a black cover. Push the locks on both sides inward and pull it toward you to remove the cover.
Replace the filter
Most car models have the damper on the left side of the glove box, but some cars have it on the right side.
Insight is one of them and has a damper on the right side.
The way to remove and install it is the same as when it is attached to the left side, but it is a little difficult to install it.
If you try to install the glove box and then install the damper, people with large hands will find it difficult to fit in the small space.
It will be a little easier if you install it at the same time as the glove box, but in any case, there is a little trick.
