Yes, I’m back after a long time.
This is the 11th installment of the air conditioner filter replacement introduction series.
First of all, I would like to introduce Toyota’s Aqua to stimulate the economy (?)!
When I looked at the Aqua, it looked like a compact hybrid car.
To be honest, the interior is a bit boring, probably because the price has been cut down on the extra fluff.
I couldn’t help but think.
Well, you shouldn’t expect too many things from a car like this.
Overseas, hybrids are not popular and we are in a difficult situation, but in Japan, the number of hybrid cars is rapidly increasing together with Honda, although the mechanism is different.
We will continue to monitor the situation.
Now, let’s get to the main topic.
The replacement method is extremely simple.
Toyota cars only have simple replacement methods.
Remove the damper
Pull the rod-shaped object called the damper to the left to remove it from the glove box.
It seems like more and more cars are equipped with dampers these days.
Having a damper helps prevent the glove box from opening suddenly.
Remove glove box
Push both sides of the glove box inward and pull it toward you. This will cause the stopper at the back of the glove box to come off, so if it is difficult to remove, do it on one side at a time.
The circle in the upper left is the damper position as seen from the entire glove box.
Remove the white lid
When you remove the glove box, you will see a white lid.
There is a part on the left side that can be pinched, so pinch it and pull it to the left to remove it.
The right side of the lid is inserted, so when removing it, pull it to the left.
Replace the filter
All you have to do is replace the filter and you’re done.
How was that?
Toyota cars are basically easy to replace, so even people who have never tinkered with cars can do it.
This is recommended for drivers who drive while letting in a lot of outside air, as the filter is particularly prone to getting dirty! !
