Lexus NX(1#) Cabin Air Filter

LEXUS(レクサス)

It’s quiet but has a luxurious feel

Stupid!

Today I would like to introduce how to replace the cabin air filter of Lexus NX.

Replacing the air conditioner filter on a Lexus used to be a bit tedious, like opening the glove box and removing a panel, but with the NX, it’s like going back to basics after a long time, and it’s a super standard replacement method.

I felt like I had gotten a bit of a kick out of it, but it’s better than something simple.

For now, I will post the replacement method, but I think you will remember it quickly after repeating it two or three times.

Remove glove box

NX glove box.

After opening the glove box, first remove the left damper.

Next, hold both sides of the glove box, push it inward and pull it toward you to remove the glove box stopper. Once you remove the stopper, the glove box will come off.

It is easier to remove the stopper by removing one side at a time.

When you remove the glove box, you will see the filter cover, so simply remove it.

Push the circled part on the left side to the right and pull it toward you to remove the cover. Pull the entire cover to the left to remove it.

thank you for your hard work!

Once you get used to it, it’s really easy to replace.

 At the end

Lexus cars can be maintained by dealers for several years, but if the car is equipped with an automatic air conditioner, the air conditioner filter gets dirty relatively quickly, so it might be a good idea to replace it yourself. .

I think this car will probably be driven more often in urban areas, but urban areas tend to get dirtier than you might think.

So, be sure to replace it as soon as possible!
