Ignis cabin air filter
This time, I would like to introduce how to replace the air conditioner filter of Suzuki’s new model Ignis.
The Ignis can be driven with almost the same feeling as a light car, but of course it has a larger displacement than a light car, so even though it is the size of a light car, it drives like a compact car.
The Ignis also comes with an air conditioner filter as standard.
It seems that Suzuki has been thinking about air conditioner filters for quite some time.
Since the MC series of the Wagon R has been equipped with it piece by piece, it has become standard on later models.
At first, it was only available on light vehicles, but now it can be installed as standard regardless of size.
In addition to activated charcoal, various settings have been made, such as adding ginkgo biloba extract and catechin.
Now, let’s get down to business.
Remove glove box
Open the glove box and pull it toward you while pushing both sides inward to release the stuck part.
This is a well-known exchange method.
The glove box can be removed using this method in most cars of any manufacturer.
However, depending on the car, it may be very difficult to remove, so in such cases, you can remove the hook on the left side and then move it to the right side.
Remove the cover
Remove the cover at the back of the glove box.
Push the protruding part on the left side inward to remove it.
This can be easily removed without any difficulty.
Replace the filter
Once you remove the cover, all you have to do is replace the filter and you’re done!
Once you get used to it, it’s really easy to replace.
The inside of your car is an environment where the basic temperature difference tends to be large, so you probably have the opportunity to turn on the air conditioner almost all year round.
This will cause more air to circulate inside the car, making it easier for dirt to accumulate in the filter.
Therefore, if you are concerned about it, check how dirty the filter is, and if it is dirty, be sure to replace it!
